Experienced Instructor
Studio Owner/Sole Instructor: Lisa Weeks opened The Turning Pointe 21 years ago with the purpose of providing a noncompetitive dance studio where the focus is learning proper technique while at the same time having fun.
Lisa began her dance career in her hometown of Medina, NY at the young age of three. In her teenage years and throughout college she became the assistant to her teacher at her hometown studio "The Dancenter". After graduating High School Lisa went on to earn her BFA in Dance from SUNY Brockport, studying from professors such as the late Timothy Draper, Clyde Morgan, Garth Fagan, and Edward Murphy, just to name a few.
It was always Lisa's dream to open her own studio and share her love of dance to all ages and levels. She is very grateful and thankful for being able to do so for so many years and hopes to continue for many more.

Tues. 4:45-5:30pm ballet/tap (4-5 yr. Old)
Tues. 5:30-6:15pm ballet/tap (6-7yr.old)
Tues. 6:15-7:15pm ballet/jazz/hip-hop (11-12yr.old)
Tues. 7:15-7:45pm Tap (11-12yr.old)
Wed. 5-5:45pm ballet/tap (4yr. Old)
Wed. 6-7:00pm jazz/hip-hop (14 & up)
Wed. 7-7:30pm Tap (14 & up)
Thurs. 4:45-5:30pm ballet/tap (6-7yr.old)
Thurs. 5:30-6:30pm ballet/jazz/tap
(8-10yr.old)
Classes are noncompetitive, in a fun atmosphere, at low monthly rates
Tuition breakdown:
$20 a month per child per one half hr. class (class once a week)
$40 a month per child per one 45min. class (class once a week)
$50 a month per child per one hr. long class (class once a week)
$65 a month per child per one 1hr and a half long class (class once a week)
Performance Opportunities
There is a year end spring showcase recital where our hard-working dancers have the opportunity to show off their skills that they have been working so hard on all year.
For the year end showcase each dancer will perform twice with two performances on the same Sat. usually late May-early June.
Costumes will need to be purchased for this showcase. Payments for these are due late Nov. to ensure time for arrival. Costumes usually run around $70 a piece. Paperwork will be handed out in class for ordering costumes.
Tickets will also need to be purchased for the recital. They will be $8.00 per ticket. More information will be handed out in class as the recital approaches.
